breezy living

The list of what I miss about my beloved east side is too long to get into in this quick blog post.

But today at lunch, I walked four blocks down to the water and bodysurfed. Then I laid out on the sand to dry off a bit. Finally, I walked back to the office in my wet drunks. Oh, and I went for a swim this morning before I biked down the boardwalk to work. I smell like sea salt and sun screen now. Just the way I like it.

There are some serious perks to living and working on the westside.

Like sands through the hourglass...

I liked this video, and I thought it reblog-worthy.

It's a beautiful documentation of a designer's take on the traditional hourglass. And appropriately, the cue is Philip Glass' "Opening" from
Glassworks. Enjoy!

weekend beach fun

It might be a little chilly, but still a nice beach weekend. This dude has got it figured out. This'll be me in about 20 hours, including the sweet sandals, plus a pint glass in hand.

Kill Them All

It seems your blog needs to have some kind of Odd Future presence to mean anything nowadays. So here's my bit. These kids are good. This track, Orange Juice, is a favorite, and Earl Sweatshirt's verse in it is great. Dude is 16.

Helms a Lee matters.
