Is this a joke?  You can be fined $1,000 for throwing a football or frisbee at LA County beaches this summer.

The list of what I miss about my beloved east side is too long to get into in this quick blog post.

But today at lunch, I walked four blocks down to the water and bodysurfed. Then I laid out on the sand to dry off a bit. Finally, I walked back to the office in my wet drunks. Oh, and I went for a swim this morning before I biked down the boardwalk to work. I smell like sea salt and sun screen now. Just the way I like it.

There are some serious perks to living and working on the westside.

weekend beach fun

It might be a little chilly, but still a nice beach weekend. This dude has got it figured out. This'll be me in about 20 hours, including the sweet sandals, plus a pint glass in hand.
